It all began with an idea, to highlight a landscape, a place, Mediterranean varieties, an almost forgotten heritage.
The idea was followed by great enthusiasm, hard work, and patience... Nowadays, we continue following the roadmap: planting vineyards in exciting locations, working with dedication in the vineyards, and crafting wines that reflect the identity of our territory.
La Font de la Figuera is a small town in the southwest of the province of Valencia. A Mediterranean town dedicated to agriculture. In this place, we have been producing wine for thousands of years, and currently, the vineyard represents the most important cultivation.
Our landscape consists of an extensive and fertile valley, surrounded by tall mountains whose slopes are adorned with beautiful terraced fields held together by stone walls.
Currently, we produce four wines, one of them, Sensal, is a single-estate wine, and three of them, Foradà, Simeta, and Micalet, are vineyard-specific wines.
We cultivate a total of 12 hectares of vineyards, divided into 6 hectares of old mountain vineyards and 6 hectares of young vineyards that we have replanted in traditional locations that had been abandoned decades ago.
We work organically, following biodynamic and sustainable practices. We promote biodiversity in our vineyards, encouraging the presence of beneficial plants and animals to maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
